The Suan Lum Night Market closed in early March, 2011. The good thing about it is that it was looking kind of raggedity in the end so closing it was the right decision. The quesitonable thing is that the group that owns it, the Crown Property Bureau has started construction in the Lat Prao-Ratchadaphisek area for the new Suan Lum Night Bazaar Ratchadaphisek. It's just weird to call it Suan Lum because when it was the Suan Lum Night Bazaar it was just opposite of Suan Lum (Lumpini Park). It is expected to re-open mid-2012.
